  1. I guess I’m really hungry. I mean, the picture of the meal definitely made me dribble a bit. It seems that I do have all of the necessary ingredients. So, I will probably be printing out the recipe and making one right now.

The only downside to it is that my wife won’t be thrilled about pork. She never eats that. And, frankly, I too find chicken or wild animal meat (like moose) a better and more enjoyable replacement. Which brings me to likely replacing pork with chicken. And so, a question.

Have you tried yourself replacing pork with chicken with this food? Does it work? Or does it kind of ruin it and lose the essence if that makes sense?

Great point about apples there at the end. Also, I loved that pairing suggestion. 🙂

  2. The picture looks good enough to eat. The ingredients sound like they would be fabulous together. I am not a fan of pork though, so I am thinking of using chicken instead. I think the apple would go well with chicken. I pinned the recipe! You have the recipe laid out well, it is easy to follow, and the instructions are easy to understand. I think it is a good recipe.

    1. Thank you for your kind comments!  Apples and onion DO go well with chicken and I think that would be a great substitute.  Let me know how it turns out.
